When I was thinking what recipe to post this week I couldn't find anything to blow me away. You know, the most important to me, when it comes to creating (cooking & DIYing), is making things I enjoy my self. Last week for example, I made these bracelets and I can't stop wearing them since then.
Back to today's recipe... I searched within my cooking books and through the internet but I really needed something fresh, easy and summery! A salad, I thought!! Now we're talking right :) I went to the grocery store and a small cute watermelon caught my eye..and then some strawberries too...long story short, I bought two bags of summer yummy fruits and ended up making this delicious and yet easy to make fruit salad! So fresh and healthy too :)
I used watermelon, apricots, pears, green apples, strawberries and pineapple. I used two slices of watermelon and the half pineapple. I hulled the strawberries (using this method) and cut them in half. Then I diced the rest of the fruit and put them in a big bowl. I had half an orange left from breakfast so I used its juice with some honey as a syrup.
Serve with some greek yogurt :) Enjoy!
This sounds DELICIOUS! Sometimes it's all about the simple things
