Sea & The City

These last few days the weather has been really sunny. On Sunday we went with John to the Old harbour for our 52week project, so I had the chance to take these three photos too. I love it when the sea is calm and the sky is bright blue..

Nature does nothing in vain

Yesterday I went for a walk in the park and took some random nature photos. Many of them remind me of spring but no...it is November here too! Greek nature and its glory :)

Morning Nature

I found these at the dogs walk this morning. They remind me of winter and snow. Especially the first one..but the weather here is not that cold yet. Anyway, good morning! Have a great week you guys!
Fall ?
/
Although it's October, here in Crete where I live, the weather was pretty good the past few weeks. Wearing flip-flops and shorts you certainly cannot say it's fall time. Today, as I was driving to the vet with Booky, it started raining like cats and dogs ;) I hope this time fall will stay, because the previous time I got too excited and it was only for two days or so. Anyway, I was sitting in, looking out my office window and I saw this cloudy sky, so I went out -on the balcony- and took a photo of it to share it with you! So, that's the sky around here.

my camera box

My Camera Box is a second blog I run almost 2years now on tumblr. It has to do only with photography. At first I did it to have a motivation to take pictures. It wasn't even public. It just helped me to remember to take pictures more often [and to carry my camera with me as much as I could].
I still use it the same way I did back then, I just published it when I started blogging here. I don't update it often enough, but I'm planning on doing that eventually too. I have loads of pictures that need editing. Anyway, that's the story of my camera box. if you want, take a look *

When the rain begins to fall *

Fall is here, finally. Till yesterday days were too sunny. Today the rain came to remind us fall is here, with all the extras it comes with. Cloudy sky,some wind and the smell of rain, even if it's not raining hard or a lot. I have to admit I'm really happy about it. I found it really difficult this time to let summer go, and I was hoping September would have helped me earlier with that. At least the rest of the month seems to be more rainy and cloudy that the first half of it.

London eating *

Last Easter I spent a week in London. It was my third time there. My best friend Nick (a very talented self taught photographer who shutted down his tumblr account-for no reason I can understand- and now I cannot link you to him) lives there for the past two years and I went to visit him. My mothers in law daughter (aka sister in law) was there too for her masters and she had her birthday! And I have a friend , Yorgos, who lives there for years and it is always nice to see him and go for a Tate-walk and a Waga-Mama bite. It was a good opportunity to search for some Colleges too, with Yorgos help, since he is an architect too. Anyway, it was a very nice week and, as you can see, my stomach was really happy too! I was very lucky cause my first day in London was St.Georges day and at St.Georges church was this market with this enormously and heavenly good food. The first picture is a portion of a Thai-something mix we tried, and it was delicious! The second one is taken in a really nice place, supposed to be very popular in London, but I cannot remember the name at all. It had very nice food (for vegetarians and vegans too) and great lemonades. No need to introduce you to Snog and to Red-Velvet, right? Yummy yummy!
So, enough mouth watering for today I guess!

Feeling Paris today

I woke up today with this enormous lust for travel. And with a particulary lust for Paris! Many times I have this need of traveling abroad. It's not always Paris. It depends on the weather, the season and many other facts. It is a pity when I cannot afford or don't have enough time to go somewhere. But dreaming is always great! The first picture is taken from a very talented photographer, Peter Lindbergh, and I don't think it's shooted in Paris. But for some reason it seems really frenchy! And the second one, is obviously under the eiffel tower.

Navy Sunday *
/
This is not one of these Sundays I'm able to enjoy by having a little trip, or doing something special. Unfortunately, this is an exam period. However, there is no reason to skip smiling-or playing with the camera in this case.
Plus, with all this "pinteresting" going on lately, I got a little inspired. I remembered (not that it is possible to forget, if you check my closet) how much I love navy looks. I mean, of course I love stripes etc, but navy style is a bit different. Anyway, this is me this morning playing with my camera and the mirror.
