My favorite meal is breakfast! I love you can eat as much as you want, combining several things, like fruit, dairy, cereal, eggs, bacon etc.
During winter I didn't have much time to spend on breakfast and I was ending up eating junk sandwiches and stuff like that, gaining weight and being unhealthy.
My German professor gave me a recipe, fairly similar to this one, but I felt it needed a little more of...I don't know, something!
There's nothing healthier from a oat nut bar every morning or during your break!
You'll need ::
1 cup of flour
1 cup of oats
1 cup of coconut powder (this is the most important ingredient!)
1 cup of brown sugar (I sometimes use 3 tsp of stevia sweetener)
1 cup of crushed nuts (almonds,hazelnuts,peanuts or whatever you like)
125gr of butter
1 tbsp of honey
1 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp of boiled water
-dilute soda into water
Making of ::
1_ mix the first group of ingredients together.
2_ melt the butter and the honey and stir gently till incorporated
3_ combine the butter mix with the dry ingredients
4_ add baking soda with water
5_ press into a baking sheet
6_ bake for 30-40min to 150C
(depending on your oven and the thickness of the mix)
*when it's ready, cut it into pieces!
You have to do it when you take it out the oven and it is still warm*
